The Cosmetic Facelift Denture
The "Fountain of Youth" for Denture Wearers

Want to look up to 20 years younger? Read on.

The problem with most dentures these days is that they look like dentures. They are usually undersized, with the front teeth too short and the back teeth too long. This is usually caused by the gradual wearing away of the jaw bones the dentures sit on as the patient ages.

This, combined with the natural wearing away of the denture itself due to years of use causes the lower part of the face to appear shorter and "sunken in." The patient actually appears older than they are, which usually causes them to feel and even act older as well. They usually resolve themselves to thinking they will just have to live with this look, and that what they have is as good as it gets.

There is now a new technique that combines the art of smile design with the science of what's called "neuromuscular dentistry." It's called the Cosmetic "Facelift" Denture, and the results can be dramatic.

So what do we mean when we say "neuromuscular dentistry?" It is a way to stimulate certain muscles of the face, causing them to relax and go to their normal length, as opposed to where they've been for years due to the old, ill-fitting dentures. The result is dentures that fit better, and restore the lower part of the face to where it should be, more like when the patient was in their twenties or thirties. These dentures have resulted in patients looking up to twenty years younger!

Comfortable, stable dentures with Mini Dental Implants (MDIs)

Mini Implants

Slippage can be a problem for many, but accurately designed and fitted dentures can prevent this. For greatest stability, many people can benefit from Mini Dental Implants (MDIs). Dr. Madow places small titanium posts to hold your dentures in place. MDIs can be used to support your dentures almost immediately, as they require very little healing time. The procedure is virtually painless, with minimal post-operative discomfort.

Existing dentures can often times be used and the entire procedure (placing the implants and retrofitting the old denture) can be done in two easy visits!

MDIs can also do away with the need for your upper denture to totally cover the roof of your mouth - eliminating gagging and improving your ability to taste food!

Metal-Free Partial Dentures

We offer metal-free flexible partials for a natural, no-metal-clasps appearance. Many people consider them the most aesthetic, life-like partial dentures available today.

If necessary, Dr. Madow can also use Mini Dental Implants to secure your partial dentures.

Immediate Dentures

If there are multiple teeth to be extracted, temporary dentures, or "Immediate Dentures" can be used. After extractions gums tends to shrink while they are healing. Once the shrinkage is complete (approximately 6 months), a new denture is fabricated. Denture retention can be enhanced (and further bone loss can be lessened) by placing Mini Dental Implants (MDIs).

Relines and Repairs

Our dedicated local denture lab can perform any kind of denture repair, as well as relining your denture for a better fit. We can even reline your denture with a super-elastic soft lining, for the most comfortable fit you've ever experienced!

Dentures Testimonial

"My mother suffered with uncomfortable dentures for many years. We visited various dentists, but no one could help her. We felt helpless. Finally, we heard Dr. Madow's advertisement on the radio, and we were so happy to hear that someone understood my mother's problems exactly. We were very excited, so I called the office right away. Dr. Madow examined my mother and suggested Mini Dental Implants (MDIs) as a solution to her problem, with their short healing time and minimal discomfort.

"My mother is 80 years old and has many medical problems, and Dr. Madow was very helpful with this difficult decision. He was so delicate, kind, and caring-I immediately trusted him and persuaded my mother to take one more chance. Now her dentures are no longer loose, she can speak more clearly, and finally eat things she couldn't even consider eating in the past. And she's smiling again! It has truly been a life-changing event, and proof that Mini Dental Implants are a real 'Small Wonder.' I want everybody to know about Dr. Madow, and what wonderful work he does!!!"
