Baltimore dentists Dr. Ed Lazer and Dr. Andrey Doroshenko specialize in the treatment of complex dental concerns. Their expertise draws on advanced post-graduate training and years of treating patients.
Our goal is to treat the underlying cause for problems, rather than simply treat the symptoms or effects of problems. Our dental care team considers both general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry to first restore your oral health with natural-looking results.
Dr. Lazer uses cutting-edge technology to deliver quicker and more precise diagnoses. He uses technology to create more personalized treatment plans and comfortable treatment options. If you want more information on our practice and our services, please visit About Us.

Dental Technology: Improving the Patient Experience
Dr. Lazer and Dr. Doroshenko have carefully designed their Baltimore dentist office to be comfortable and relaxing. Our dentists want patients to enjoy their visit without the sights, sounds, and smells often associated with the dentist. Modern technology is part of making your office experience positive and relaxing.
Digital Dental X-rays
Today, digital dental x-rays are a standard in modern dental care. Dr. Lazer was one of the first Baltimore dentists to incorporate this technology in his practice. He has more experience and continues to offer the latest technology to make the patient experience safe and more comfortable.
Digital X-rays produce images instantly and are more comfortable for patients. Dr. Lazer can enhance the images on a computer screen to show you exactly what’s happening in your mouth.
Satellite TV
Imagine watching your favorite TV shows and movies while you’re having dental work. Each of our operatory rooms has satellite television to help patients feel more relaxed during treatment. Watching something while you get your cleaning can help you keep your mind off thoughts of anxiety.
CBCT Carestream 8100 Panorex
We use panoramic X-rays to get a complete image of the mouth. CBCT (cone beam computed tomography) creates high-quality 2-D and 3-D images of the dental structure. We use this tool to see the insides of the teeth and the soft tissues of the mouth.
CBCT scans are a valuable diagnostic tool we use for a variety of treatments. We can see signs of tooth wear or decay, see impacted and crooked teeth, and even find the placement for dental implants.
Electric Handpieces
Dr. Lazer uses advanced electric handpieces instead of traditional dental drills. These tools are much quieter to help you feel more relaxed during your visit. Electric handpieces also give Dr. Lazer more control and precision for smoother and more efficient treatment.
Intra Oral Camera
Dr. Lazer uses an intraoral camera to get a complete picture of the inside of your mouth. This technology uses a small video camera on a wand-like probe. Dr. Lazer moves this camera comfortably inside the mouth around the teeth and gums to identify problems in their earliest stages.
We can eaasily track your progress with this camera. Our office takes and stores before and after pictures with this camera for your digital health record.
Ultrasonic Scaling
Scaling and root planning are a method of deep cleaning the teeth and gums. We offer ultrasonic scaling to remove stubborn plaque and stains from the teeth. The ultrasonic technology is more comfortable than traditional dental tools which scrape teeth.
The Formlabs Form 3B
This 3-D laser printer makes it simple for patients to receive quick and precise dental restorations. This advanced printer allows our dentists to create biocompatible appliances. After one of our dentists uses an intraoral scanner to create a 3D image of the patient’s mouth, they can create dental crowns, bridges, dentures, and mouthguards in-office.
Pain-Free Dentistry
Your comfort is our top priority. Vibraject is a device that delivers anesthesia more effectively to significantly reduce or eliminate the pain associated with injections. The handheld device delivers a vibrating sensation to the treated area to override the pain from the anesthesia needle.
Soft Tissue Laser
Dr. Lazer offers quick, safe, and comfortable advanced periodontal services. He can perform common soft tissue procedures from the comfort of his Baltimore dental office. Dr. Lazer can recommend a frenectomy, gingivoplasty, gingivectomy, or crown lengthening based on your gum problems.
Soft tissue laser makes sterile incisions with little to no bleeding. Patients prefer laser technology because it limits post-operative pain. It also decreases the needed visits for restorative procedures and leads to improved treatment outcomes.
Nobel Biocare Implants
Nobel Biocare is the latest dental implant technology that allows us to provide immediate replacement of teeth. Nobel Biocare uses CAD/CAM technology so we can plan the precise placement of dental implants. You can get replacement teeth in less time.
